We’re seeing more and more of the Peugeot/vauxhall/citroen 1.2 puretech engines now needing timing belts. We have 2 this week alone. We carry out replacement including genuine timing belt kit, correct oil/filter and removing the sump to check for any issues for approximately £600. A fraction of the main dealer price. Don’t chance leaving the timing belts too long on these. It will be a lot more than £600 if they break

What should have been an easy enough morning turned into something else. Injectors in a 1.6 tdi Volkswagen caddy, but all seized up,requiring specialist tools to remove. Thankfully they eventually all came out
We seem to be doing loads of these wet belts recently. Very disappointing to see them failing within 50000 miles on the Vauxhall/peugeot/citroen 1.2 turbo petrol engines. If you’re in any doubt if yours needs changing, pop in and have a chat or give us a call
This is the side of being self employed that no one sees. Just about to close the workshop on a Saturday at 7:30 pm. 14 hour days to try keep up with workload and keep the customers cars on the road. Thankfully I have an understanding lady in my life
Something a little different from the normal day to day jobs. Poor starting Citroen relay having compression and glow plugs checked
Yet another ford transit wet belt. We do these using genuine timing belt kit, timing cover, sump,plus air oil and fuel filters, correct oil and coolant for £1050. Approximately a £400 saving from the main dealer.
